Black Magic is the practice of magic, which may be described as the practical application of an esoteric science-based on occult knowledge. The importance of black magic can be understood by its prevalence all around the world. This science has always been in opposition to much of conventional science. Historically, this fact brought witches into conflict with the state and in many ways, this is still the case today in countries like the United States, in which the government entities. dictated through official science is heavily Witchcraft is a natural part of many religious and spiritual practices worldwide. In cultures where black magic is a prevalent and accepted practice, people are more polite and respectful to one another and there is considerably less crime.

It is a generally accepted fact that a witch who is deeply wronged is dangerous, if not deadly, to the person who perpetrated the evil act against him or her. This knowledge makes people behave much more respectfully to one another and the crime rate in such countries is very low. By contrast, in cultures that support a philosophy of forgiveness and turning the other cheek, evil flourishes, Crime often goes unpunished or it is barely punished and criminals are protected. Charity in the extreme breeds evil, such as that we have seen in Christian churches where sexual abuse is common and on the rare occasions when these crimes are brought to light, more often than not, parishioners support the criminal on the basis of the principle of forgiveness. As a consequence, churches have become a haven for the worst kind of criminals and the refuge of cowards. Christianity and similar religions do not co-exist well with witchcraft because the black magician always has the upper hand. Faith in “God” renders the person who gives his mind away to it defenseless against the machinations of black magicians. Out of ignorance and fear, the faithful may react violently. This is presently a problem in some countries in Africa and it was a very big problem for hundreds of years in Western Europe and among the early American colonists. On the other hand, an entire community of black magicians can live together very peacefully and respectfully. Such is the case in the Philippines among some of the Mambabarang, the Cebuanos (witches) who are most feared and scorned by the general population. They are demonized and marginalized in the broader Christian culture but live in peace when they are in their own separate communities. The same is true of the Aghori of India, who dwell apart from the general population. It was, also, true among the African nations before the Christian invasion.
